Additive Manufacturing in Apulia across more traditional application sectors: second Incoming Mission in Bari

On January 30, 2025, Bari will host the second Incoming Mission organized by IMAST as part of the Interreg IPA South Adriatic “AMTECH” project. This event brings together entrepreneurs, researchers, and professionals to explore the impact of Additive Manufacturing on traditional sectors, with the goal of fostering knowledge exchange and encouraging new collaborations. The project continues to provide valuable insights for growth and development within the industrial and research ecosystems.

Through a combination of visits to centers of excellence, direct dialogue, and on-site demonstrations, the event will offer a tangible perspective on how 3D printing is being applied to traditional sectors such as precision mechanics and biomedical engineering. It highlights how these applications are redefining production processes and opening cultural and commercial frontiers.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit innovative companies such as Roboze Srl, XYZ Tecno 3D Srl, and Adler Ortho SpA. They will also be welcomed into the laboratories of the Polytechnic University of Bari, where they can observe advanced systems up close and discuss the potential of Additive Manufacturing with experts.

This event is not just a day of technical exploration but an occasion to build connections and strengthen synergies between industry, research, and stakeholders. The Incoming Mission aims to inspire, spark innovative ideas, and promote cross-border collaborations between Italy, Albania, and Montenegro, while raising awareness among Apulian companies about how innovation and technology transfer can diversify their core business and lead to new professional and industrial successes.

Part of the AMTECH project, funded by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Program, the initiative seeks to disseminate advanced technologies and enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, consolidating the South Adriatic region’s leadership in innovation.

Participation is limited to 15 attendees, including economic operators, students, academics, and representatives of public-private entities from Albania, Montenegro, Molise, and Apulia. Registration is required to attend.
