Objective:

The main objective of the SITRAM project was “Sustainable Mobility”, identified as a key competitive factor by ANSALDO STS for acquiring new market shares and maintaining existing ones. The main “target” performances that we intend to improve are Safety (both in terms of safety and security), Energy Efficiency, Lower Environmental Impact, Regularity and Availability of the Service.

In particular, SITRAM has created a highly innovative tram system by intervening on numerous and significant components present on board and in the fixed systems.

Objective achieved:

Nell’ambito del progetto SITRAM, IMAST ha riprogettato e realizzato in materiale composito alcuni elementi per l’alimentazione dei veicoli tranviari senza “catenaria aerea”. La fase di progettazione è stata supportata da una specifica attività di qualifica, che ha portato alla validazione di un dimostratore funzionante.
