ECCENTRIC Blue Opportunity: New Horizons for SMEs in the Blue Economy
IMAST is launching an Open Call for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) eager to innovate and grow within the strategic sectors of the Blue Economy, with a special focus on:
- Marine energy
- Maritime infrastructure
- Environmental and coastal monitoring & surveillance
This initiative is part of ECCENTRIC – Enhancing Circularity in the Adriatic Area, funded by the Interreg Italy–Croatia 2021–2027 Programme, and aims to support SMEs in their journey towards technological growth and transformation. The goal: foster circular solutions and stimulate collaborative networks at local, national, and international level.
A tangible opportunity to innovate
Selected SMEs will gain access to an exclusive pathway, guided by industry experts, including:
- Tailored innovation needs assessment, designed to identify strategies and/or technology partners to address company-specific challenges;
- Access to a research & innovation network bringing together research centers, universities, technology providers, and partner companies, to foster strategic collaborations;
- Targeted information on funding calls and financing opportunities to support business growth;
- Trial access to an AI-powered tool developed to assess financial needs and match enterprises with the most suitable funding options. This tool will remain available even after the pilot phase ends.
